Our co-founder Nessa is overjoyed to finally bring the Know Your Rights Camp to #Detroit, a city rich in history and energy. She feels a deep connection to Detroit, especially honoring Ambassador Shabazz and her father, Malcolm X. Nessa emphasizes the importance of community and togetherness, feeling immense pride when seeing the youth empowered, smiling, and learning. The most touching moment for her was when a young attendee expressed his desire to join the team, affirming that their efforts are truly making a difference and inspiring the next generation to lead and continue the mission.
