The Georgia native, currently a student at Hills Academy in Conyers, has impressed both academically and personally, building a reputation as a gifted and determined learner.

Joshua’s journey began early — at just 3 years old, he authored a children’s book. By age 7, he was enrolled in a Duke University talent program. Now, as a dual-enrollment student at Augusta Technical College, he has already completed 27 college credit hours while maintaining a 3.88 GPA.

His parents describe him as a young man of remarkable perseverance. “His grit and resilience speaks for itself. He didn’t let any challenges get in the way of his dream,” they said in a statement.

While academics are a major part of his life, Joshua makes time for other interests as well, including basketball and playing the piano. His dedication to holistic development reflects his thoughtful approach to the future. “I am driven by a passion for learning and making a positive impact in the world,” Joshua said in a personal statement. “Whether it’s excelling in academics or inspiring others, I am committed to growing and improving.”

Among his top college choices is Morehouse College in Atlanta, a historically Black institution known for cultivating leaders. He also has applications pending at prestigious universities including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Georgia Tech.

With a clear sense of purpose and an impressive academic track record, Joshua is a powerful example of what young minds can achieve when nurtured and inspired.
