Held in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood at The Historic Lyric Theater on October 27, 2018, our sixth Know Your Rights Camp served over 250 youth. Speakers included Ameer Loggins, doctoral student in African Diaspora Studies at U.C. Berkeley; civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump; Ashley Armato, Senior Associate Director of College Counseling/ Equity and Inclusion Co-Coordinator; Angel Rich, financial literacy speaker; Dr. Brandon Nicholson, Akeem Brown, and Dr. Hodari Tourè at The Hidden Genius Project; Ime Archibong, VP of Product Partnerships at Facebook; Camille Range, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist; and Yareli Quintana, certified holistic health coach. We teamed up with Abstrk to produce our Miami Resource Guide.
